“I will never step foot in San Jose again - ever!” claims Shrimp, who is back to his usual styles at the Palace. For those who don’t know what his usual styles are, he breathes hella loud, packs fatties, eats lots of food, makes fun of (your name here), doesn’t do shit, picks his nose, says “nahhh” and snores like a whale.
We’re off to Glodge’s tomorrow. We told him we’d be there at 8 am, so we’ll see him at around 12:30. We originally told him we’d be there tonight, but the Giants were on TV and North Beach delivers.
It’s tough typing with a booger on your finger. It’s worth it though cause then you get to toss a boog.

In House Records
988 Mission Street
San Francisco
www.throwdown.com
This is the place to go to find the best house music in the city. Between Leonard, Naz, and the rest of the crew, they know just about every record you’re looking for. Just don’t try to sing it, cause you’ll sound hella stupid. The downside is that it can be hard to find street parking so you may have to shell out some bones for the 5th Street garage.

Beatplanet sucks and so do you. So turn off your computer and go smell a flower you smelly hippie. If that didn’t make you go away, then check out our new links page. We’ve also added a few new shops to the wax shacks for all you crate diggers and vinyl fiends.
As for the sf music scene - from Hip Hop to House to Afro-Latin Funk, the choice is yours Friday night. DJ Hopper will be modeling his new Puma gear at Border Cantina. Or you could drive down to Santa Cruz to see The Coup, but I’d rather stay in the city and check Lyrics Born at Slim’s. Local Artist/DJ Nome will be exhibiting his styles both on canvas and on the turntables at Facility 3. He’s like Bo Jackson and shit. Shrimp can’t paint, but his beats have been known to make girlies take their clothes off. Let’s just hope he doesn’t take his off! No offense…Oh yeah, O-Maya. Check SF Events for more info on all upcoming shows.

Tweekin Recods
593 Haight Street
San Francisco
www.tweekin.com
Even though they have put up a sign marking it’s presence, this house music specialty shop, under new ownership by the Green Gorilla boys, is still so underground it’s hard to find! They changed the rolls down the street at Rosamunde, but grinding a couple links after digging through the crates of Tweekin is still shtandard.
