Turn on MTV nowadays and most of the “Hip Hop” presented is garbage. My last good memory of Hip Hop on MTV is the final episode of Yo! MTV Raps, when a bunch of legends came through the studio to chill with Dre and Ed Lover, spit some rhymes and smoke a pound or two in the alley. Here’s a clip.

My favorite line was Rakim’s first: New days are dawnin’, new ways of performin’, brainstormin’ I write and watch the night turn to mornin’.

Who else thinks the Dave Chappelle Lost Episodes are weak? Charlie Murphy and Ashy Larry are great characters but on stage, they got nothin’ on Sir Smoke-A-Lot. If you get bored watching the next episode, check this out instead.

A few bass kicks, a snare here and there, and a little kuttin and skratchin. They were fighting like furious animals man.. Yeea, no shitin!! When the bass-line came it was all over. They were fighting about the fact that house music is going out just like disco did, and Hip-Hop will always be around just like funk music. (Pass that shit fool! puff, puff pass. Quit hittin the joint) Any wayz back to the story…. In the end, they picked the boogers off each other, shook hands and spun Hip-Hop. After all that, the owners decided to just play in-house baseball for the rest of there sucka-free lives in a far away castle…. Yea…. That’s how it went down dude…. I heard.

Q: So What’s up with it now, is it just gona stay on pause like Super Mario BRO’S 3 while I’m taking a bong load?
